Several schools within the Rockford area have been effected enough by the fog to call for a two hour school delay. Rockford Christian School and Rockford Public Schools are just a few that have announced the delay.

ROCKFORD, Mich. - Last night brought a wintry mix of rain, freezing rain, snow and ice to the area and with it came the closing of several area schools including Rockford Public Schools.

Snow will continue north while freezing rain/sleet will change to snow from north to south along and south of I-96 during the afternoon. Temperatures will continue to fall into the mid to upper 20s.
