13OYS - Tell us about the potholes in your neighborhood

As the winter turns to spring, more and more potholes start to appear throughout West Michigan. We would like you to tell us where the worst potholes can be found.

If you've come across a really bad pothole in your neighborhood, please leave a comment below to let us know where we can find it.

Also, if you can safely get a photo, email those to pics@wzzm13.com along with your name, phone number, and location where the photo was taken.

As comments and photos come in, WZZM13 will publicize the worst of the worst in an effort to get them fixed as quickly as possible.

New 10 Mile Road traffic signals will flash for another week

New 10 Mile Road traffic signals will flash for another week

You can expect the new traffic signals on 10 Mile Road at Wolven Avenue and at Childsdale Avenue to blink until the new year.

The Kent County Road Commission says new traffic signals are typically set to blink for a week before they are fully activated.

However, due to the holidays and holiday staffing, the Road Commission tells WZZM 13 that crews probably won't be available to switch the lights over until the new year.

The commission also avoids turning lights on during snow storms, but with the long range forecast looking fairly mild, that probably won't be an issue.

Rockford H.S.Drivers Education to End

Rockford H.S.Drivers Education to End

The Rockford Board of Education has voted to end drivers education citing rising costs and declining enrollment. The program would cost more to offer than what the private instructors charge and it was getting difficult to find cars to lease. Rockford will honor those current students who have already taken the first segment through the school, but no new students will be accepted.
