UPDATE: Deputies have located missing Bostwick Lake man | News
UPDATE (Wednesday 11:35 a.m.) - The missing man has been found safe.
ROCKFORD, Mich. (WZZM) -- Kent County deputies are searching for a man reported missing from the Bostwick Lake area.
James Walter Mollema, 67, was last seen around 12:30 p.m. Monday walking westbound on Belding Road NE from Sunfish Lake Avenue.
Deputies say Mollema does not have any known medical conditions to explain why he has not been seen since walking away, but say it is not typical for him to be gone like this.
Mollema is a white man, 6'2" and 245 lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white colored jacket and a Detroit Tigers baseball cap.
Anyone with information on Mollema's whereabouts is asked to call the Kent County Sheriff's Department at (616) 632-6100.
