UPDATE: Tree falls on truck, driver seriously injured | News
OAKFIELD TOWNSHIP (WZZM) - A man was knocked unconscious when a tree limb fell on his pick-up truck in northeastern Kent County.
The accident happened around 4:40 p.m. Friday on Lincoln Lake Avenue and Podunk Avenue-- that's just south of 14 Mile Road.
Deputies say Nicholas Lober, 57, was driving when the tree limb fell onto his pickup, knocking him out. Lober had serious head injuries, and was air-lifted from the Greenville airport to Spectrum Health.
Police closed Lincoln Lake around the accident scene for more than an hour. It reopened Friday night.
