Rockford celebrates summer | Community Spirit
Rockford's celebration of the Start of Summer is underway.
The celebration will draw more than 10,000 visitors before it wraps up on Sunday, June 10th.
The Start of Summer Parade takes places through the streets of Rockford on Saturday morning at 11am. Another highlight will be the frog and turtle races at Chase Bank on Saturday at 1:30pm. You can find the complete list of activities here.
Of course, you'll see the fireworks over the city of Rockford on Saturday night after sunset.
